The same can be said for gas,food and clothing too – If liquor stores must be closed one day a week, let’s make that day Monday. Planning has nothing to with the issue, it’s about getting rid of outdated “blue” laws.

Minnesota, here. Yes, the liquor stores are closed Sundays. A modicum of planning can ensure home access to alcohol seven days a week.
